Dear Friend,

Children in foster care cannot go home because it is not safe.

For ten years, LACASA's Court Appointed Special Advocate (CASA) Program has been working to safeguard, protect and advocate for children from our community who have been abused or neglected.

Our CASA Advocates are specially-trained to serve as the voice for children in the family court system and upon completion of their training are appointed by a judge. Often, these advocates are the only consistent adult in a child's life.

CASA advocates have a profound affect on the children they represent--from serving as their voice in court to visiting them regularly to assess their progress and ensure their well being.

Our CASA team includes more than 50 volunteers who advocate for foster children throughout Livingston County.

Your support makes it possible for foster children from our community to feel seen, heard and valued.

Thank you for your generous donation today. You are changing a life right here at home!

The warmest of regards,

Bobette Schrandt, LACASA President & CEO
